Courteous and Polite Drivers come top in customer poll
18-05-2007
BCH customers have given top marks to Company drivers for their politeness and courtesy in the latest survey on customer satisfaction. The 90 per cent grading is the highest ever since the first survey 4 years ago.
Satisfaction with the ‘overall service’ provided by BCH reached the 90 per cent level, whilst 85 per cent of customers rated the head office service very helpful.
Managing Director, Bill Chippington, praised staff for their tremendous efforts recently. “We know our staff have a strong commitment towards providing customers with an excellent level of service and this survey shows we are heading in the right direction”.
High scoring BCH drivers also made an impression with customers when it came to smart appearance and tidy vehicles but the MD Bill Chippington felt that scores of 70 – 75% should be higher. There were no acceptable reasons for falling below the highest standards in these areas and consultation would take place at the next round of drivers meetings.
Director of Business Development, Will Chippington, praised staff for embracing the culture of providing exceptional service. “We have taken positive steps throughout the Company but I want to see improvements in the way complaints are handled and in prompt notification of delays”.
