BCH Vision and Aims

To function as a customer focused Logistics Company dedicated to providing high quality, reliable services, from a committed workforce.

BCH Staff have been instrumental in setting the company vision and the following aims:

Here are the main targets:

To have 96 per cent of customer orders delivered on time

To have 94 per cent vehicles serviced within the hours allocated

To have a 16 per cent increase in new customer business

To have an 8 per cent increase in business with existing customers

To provide 20 per cent of staff with training or new skills development

Development of BCH and its services

It is 30 years since Bill Chippington put his first vehicle on the road, and today, BCH Ltd has successfully sustained customer growth across its range of services. The Philosophy that Bill started with in 1977, continues throughout all areas of the company, today. At BCH Ltd, the customer is placed at the centre of all decision making, with all company planning and operations devoted to what the customer wants.

Now, whether Bill came up with this internationally recognised marketing strategy before Prof. Stanton at Colorado University is a debatable point!

The customer focus at the company extends to an annual survey, where customers needs can be identified and addressed, leading to improvement and greater efficiency. It is attention to these processes that led to BCH Ltd achieving ISO Quality Management status in 2006

Staff views are vital to company development and BCH Ltd values the contribution made by its front line team of driver, its staff and managers. Staff training and mentoring have become a company strength leading to a National Training Award and the award of Investor in People status in 2004.

Making the lives of customers easier remains a core value at BCH Ltd as does the investment in staff development and training
